Fohlengold® has been developed for healthy growth and supports the optimal development of the foal's genetic potential.

Fohlengold® is specially formulated to ensure regular digestion and balanced growth, especially during the first months of life.
It is rich in minerals, including essential trace elements, ensuring healthy bone and cartilage development and contributing to the harmonious growth of the foal.
It contains high-biological value vegetable proteins and essential amino acids that support healthy growth.
The starch content is low, replaced by beneficial oilseeds, fiber, and nutrients that support digestion.
It provides the body with high-quality nutrients such as corn germ, brewer's yeast, herbs, and other vitamin-rich ingredients.
The minerals used are of organic and marine origin (from seaweed), with precise ratios of trace elements to ensure healthy growth.
Thanks to yeast, malt, flaxseed, and specific herbs, the enzymatic digestion process that develops in the first weeks is supported, in addition to building a strong intestinal microbiome.

Directions for Use

As a supplement to the basal feed consisting of breast milk, roughage (Raufutter), and/or pasture grass, we recommend the following (divided into several feedings daily) for a foal weighing approximately 600 kg at maturity:
From the third week of age until the third month: Freely available Follingold® (maximum 600 g/day).
From the fourth month: approximately 600 g.
From the fifth month: approximately 1 kg.
From the sixth month: approximately 1.4 kg.
From the seventh month: approximately 1.7 kg.
From the twelfth month: approximately 2 kg.
From month 18 (and for some slow-growing horses from month 24): Switch to Hesta Mix®, Struktur-Energetikum®, or Struktur-E® grain-free.
For difficult-to-fatten foals: Add flax oil and/or GlyxWiese® Heucobs/Wiesentaler.
For easy-to-fatten foals: Feed 50% Fohlengold® or Equigard® (in case of grain intolerance) with a plant-herb mineral supplement.

Feeding Notes
This supplement contains higher levels of vitamins and trace elements than complete feeds and should therefore not exceed 38.1% of the total daily ration (including hay).
Please adhere to the feeding recommendations.

Advice

For older horses, horses that eat quickly, or horses with dental, chewing, or swallowing problems, it is recommended to mix the muesli with water. Or switch from muesli to pellets, soaking them well in water and feeding them as a mash.

Always ensure your horse has clean, fresh drinking water available.
